TENEMENT TV GOES ON THE ROAD

Tenement TV’s intimate sessions with chart-toppers Bastille, Jake Bugg, Hozier and Nina Nesbitt have dazzled an international audience, new competition offers fans the chance to host a gig in their own home

Scotland’s Tenement TV launches new competition in association with Tennent’s Lager that gives fans of music the chance to host a gig in their home.
 
Tenement TV’s intimate sessions are recorded in a tenement flat in Glasgow’s west end have captivated an international audience around the world. Over the past three years, over 3 million people have watched sessions with the likes of Jake Bugg, Bastille, Kodaline and Nina Nesbitt.
 
Always at the heart of innovative ideas and thinking outside the box, throughout winter 2014 the ‘Bring Tenement TV to your Home’ competition will see TTV hit the road offering fans the chance to get a behind the scenes look at the sessions whilst getting up-close-and-personal with some of the incredible bands on the touring circuit.
 
Tenement TV CEO, Chae Houston said: “We’ve had some amazing bands up at Tenement TV HQ over the years and we are really excited about the launch of ‘Bring Tenement TV To Your Home’. We always like to try out new and interesting spaces with our ‘On Location’ sessions and taking our sessions on the road will give fans a chance to enjoy this intimate music experience from the comfort of their own home.
 
“We are always keen to develop new and exciting ways to connect people with their favourite bands and are delighted to offer this opportunity to music fans all over Scotland.”

To enter, fans are asked to take a picture of their location and tweet the entry using the @tenementtv handle and #BringTTVEntries hashtag.
 
Winners will be chosen at the end of November 2014 with the session taking place in December 2014. The bands taking part in the competition will be chosen based on the bands touring close to chosen locations.
