Tensnake – Pressure [Special Request Remix]

Up next from Tensnake, following this year’s acclaimed debut album Glow, is a remix of ‘Pressure’ from Paul Woolford’s jungle-infused Special Request project. The original, featuring vocalist Thabo, was one of the highlights of Glow, which found the German DJ/producer further exploring the sublime, disco-infused house sound he’s become famed for.

Special Request transforms the track into a characteristically rough and raucous garage shuffle, driven by ghostly bleeps and a delirious, warping bassline. The remix is released via Beatport and Spotify from 3rd August. It’s also a propulsive highlight of Tensnake’s upcoming contribution to Pete Tong’s mix series, All Gone Pete Tong & Tensnake Ibiza 2014. Tensnake’s full CD-length mix also finds him drawing for new tracks from artists including Basement Jaxx, Bicep, Duke Dumont and Barker & Baumecker, and will be released through Defected July 20th.
