Swedish label MB Disco makes a welcome return & presents the Tensnake remix of the Martin Brodin & Vision Factory collaboration ‘Run’.
Following on from the Swedish Disco Jets single ‘Don’t Stop The Dance’, which picked up an array of love including support on Hed Kandi radio – Swedish label MB Disco now welcome Tensnake on remix duties. With the original version of ‘Run’ released in late ’22, featuring the unmistakable vocals of Teresa Kali & continues to garner support worldwide.
Needing little introduction, Tensnake comes off the back of a standout array of previous releases – including ‘Coma Cat’ (on Defected Records), along with ‘Antibodies’ (on Armada Music). Also amassing an enviable remix catalogue, Tensnake has worked on singles from Faithless, Duke Dumont, Dua Lipa, The Foals & many others – notching up in excess of 225m streams at Spotify to date. With continued support across BBC Radio 1, Kiss FM, SiriusXM & beyond – Tensnake serves up his own take on the Martin Brodin & Vision Factory single ‘Run’, whilst retaining the original’s unmistakable vocal hook.
Label head Martin Brodin is the force behind MB Disco & since its launch in 2010, they’ve welcomed cuts & remixes from the likes of Kraak & Smaak, Gerd Janson, Giorgio Moroder, Prins Thomas & Aeroplane. Brodin‘s labels have always been an outlet for his own music too & his productions have appeared on mix CDs from DJs as diverse as Carl Cox, Nick Warren & Claude VonStroke.
Collaborating with Vision Factory on ‘Run’, Martin Sauer & Jeffrey Sawodny are the creative minds behind the project – which was first founded in 2006 by FF1 Berlin. With previous output on the likes of Toolroom, Cr2, Enormous Tunes, Sirup Music & many others, the Vision Factory beat goes firmly on.
With ‘Run’ featuring the vocal talent of Teresa Kali, music has been part of her life since a young age & as she grew up with a colourful mix of influences. Going on to join various cover bands in her homeland & focusing on Soul, Funk and R&B – Teresa has performed in the studio alongside Prominent, Leslie Tay & many others, along with working for Rob n´ Raz – the revered Stockholm based producers.
