Tensteps is ready to unveil another hard-hitting production off his upcoming album. Titled ‘Deja Vu’, this is the third single off the album and is released in collaboration with UK songwriter/vocalist Sarah de Warren. Known for her releases with the likes of Nicky Romero, Kaskade, Tritonal, and Martin Jensen, just to name a few, her signature vocals and powerful songs have reached several Top 10s across leading charts, making her a top-tier talent in the electronic dance music industry.
About the collaboration, Tensteps mentions:
“I had the pleasure of meeting Sarah de Warren in LA during ASOT1000, and very shortly after we decided to work together on a track. She sent me some topline options, and ‘Deja Vu’ immediately jumped out at me. The vocal melodies in the hook are just so infectious, and her delivery is so on target with what I go for in a vocal, that there was no way I could say no to this one. I ended up making the majority of the track in about 2 days because the music just flowed so easily with the vocal.”
‘Deja Vu’ features a growling acid bassline and a pounding, fervent beat that starts off the track. The captivating vocals of Sarah de Warren holds center-stage until the track finds its drop, with a soaring arpeggiated synth melody and an increasingly intense beat that releases the track to a fully-fledged party through its full-bodied pads and lead synths.
This new single off Tensteps’ highly anticipated debut album further proves his skills as a Producer, and is a reminder that his signature style and sound is one to follow closely.
