WOUTER DE MOOR - TESLA COIL
The annual Cocoon alphabet compilation is a real benchmark of who has been making the big tunes each year. For this latest instalment, one of the key players along the way is Wouter de Moor. He is a Dutchman with credits on labels like Ovum, Get Physical and Flashmob and here he impresses once more.
His cut is called Tesla Coil and is a seven minute long piece that has firmly rooted drums, fat basslines bobbling about and icy hi hats straight from a classic dub techno cut. It is a real roller that will make for some true heads down moments in the club and sitting alongside techno greats like Redshape and many more it sounds right at home in this fine compilation.
