The All Clear ‘Harbour Songs’ – out now!

The All Clear is an emerging indie band from Belfast, led by seasoned musician and consultant oncologist Joe O’Sullivan. As the band’s frontman, vocalist, and primary songwriter, Joe draws from his rich life experiences to craft music that blends both personal and professional themes. With their highly anticipated debut album, Harbour Songs, The All Clear is poised to leave a lasting mark on the indie music scene.

The band’s lineup features a close-knit group of musicians: Joe Craig on bass guitar, Ali Donnelly on drums, and Joe’s son, Oisín O’Sullivan, contributing backing vocals. Together, they create an atmospheric and emotional sound that complements Joe O’Sullivan’s introspective songwriting.

Recorded at Belfast’s iconic Start Together Studios and produced by the acclaimed Rocky O’Reilly, Harbour Songs, is a deeply personal collection of tracks. As an oncologist who has worked in prostate cancer treatment for over two decades, Joe’s work as a physician has influenced the band’s name, with The All Clear symbolizing the life-changing news that every cancer patient hopes to hear.

The album’s title, Harbour Songs, reflects a transformative period in Joe’s life, marked by the end of a marriage and the beginning of a new relationship. Living in the Harbour area of Belfast, Joe found inspiration in both the physical and emotional landscapes around him. This sense of place and transition is woven into the fabric of the album, which showcases themes of change, loss, and renewal.

Before forming The All Clear, Joe O’Sullivan was already an established solo artist, with three albums to his name: Take A Deep Breath (2015), Another Light (2017), and Instead of Many Shades of Blue (2020). His solo work laid the foundation for the introspective and evocative sound that defines, Harbour Songs.

With a mix of poignant lyrics, soulful melodies, and an authentic indie sound, The All Clear’s debut promises to connect with listeners on a deeply emotional level. It’s not just an album—it’s a reflection of life’s complexities, from heartbreak to healing.

Harbour Songs, is available now on all major streaming platforms. The All Clear is also planning a series of live performances across Northern Ireland to celebrate the release of their debut album, bringing their emotive sound to audiences far and wide.
