DJ Zinc x Jack Beats - The Anvil

Masterminded by the omnipotent DJ Zinc, Full House EP is a various artists release featuring collaborations between Zinc and six of the world’s foremost electronic producers.
 
DJ Zinc, the London-based dance music DJ and record producer known for pioneering new styles, has consistently redefined his sound. He jumps effortlessly between musical genres, and is one of few artists who can claim to have had genuine underground and commercial hits across house, breakbeat, UK garage and drum & bass, having sold over 1,000,000 physical records across his own productions and labels.
 
Bass house is very much Zinc’s current obsession, and like everything else Zinc does, these new productions stand out from the crowd as he constantly looks to explore new sounds and methods of production. Never one to rest on his laurels, it was this desire for experimentation that kick-started the current project, DJ Zinc Presents Full House, dropping on his own Bingo Bass label this summer.
 
Every track on the EP has been produced alongside a fellow A-list artist, with Chris Lorenzo, Holy Goof, Jack Beats, MJ Cole, My Nu Leng and Shift K3y all featuring on what will be one of the most star-studded electronic releases of the summer.
 
“I had a lot of fun making this EP, with some of my favourite producers. Every one of the collabs is with someone whose music I play, so I knew the results would be club- ready bangers. From the musical bliss of MJ Cole to the lunatic bass of Lorenzo, the studio science of Shift K3y to the intricate workings of Jack Beats – the fresh angles from Holy Goof to the tidal wave of My Nu Leng… every track was a pleasure to make.
 
Some of the initial sessions were in my studio, the others I visited with my laptop and we worked on them over a couple of months, fine tuning mixes and edits to get them spot on. Now all the tracks are road tested and ready to unleash to the dancefloors of the world. Bass for days!!!” DJ Zinc
 
The first track on the EP is ‘The Anvil’, produced in collaboration with Jack Beats and dropping 12 July. Award-winning DJs and with a discography that includes releases on OWSLA, Rinse, Nightbass and Columbia, Jack Beats have embraced and conquered bass house via their hip-hop origins, and have contributed to making ‘The Anvil’ a hard-hitting, visceral club weapon.
 
Following the release of ‘The Anvil’ a new track from the EP will be released weekly, with the full EP available on 25 August.
