Tuff London - The Block EP

Acclaimed UK house duo Tuff London return with a bang with ‘The Block EP’ featuring the two unrelenting floor-fillers, ‘Attack The Block’ and ‘Lucky For Some’, released on Get Twisted Records on 7 April 2017.

Having enjoyed an incredible 2016, thanks to the huge success of their tracks ‘Sending Love’ and ‘Front Line’, Tuff London look set for even bigger things in 2017.

Opening track on the EP, ‘Attack The Block’ is an infectious bass stomper that takes no prisoners before ‘Lucky For Some’ moves the party into even heavier, deeper and darker territory.

Tuff London are heavily inspired by the underground sounds of house and techno from the ‘90s through to the current day. The duo’s breakthrough single ‘Sending Love’ (Toolroom Trax) released in summer 2016 saw support across from a variety of leading house and techno DJs, including Carl Cox and Mark Knight, to become a bona fide Ibiza anthem.

With Tuff London’s follow-up ‘Front Line’ (Toolroom) featuring the legendary vocals of Steve Edwards (Cassius ‘Sound Of Violence’, Axwell ‘Watch The Sunrise’, Bob Sinclair ‘World Hold On’), the duo saw their profile rocket with the track becoming one of 2016’s biggest selling tech house releases.

Since its inception 2012, Tough Love’s record label, Get Twisted Records, has gone from strength to strength, signing an imprint deal with Columbia Records in 2015 and featuring releases from both established names and rising talent including Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Sandy Riviera, Amine Edge & DANCE, Man Without A Clue, Purple Disco Machine, Full Crate, No Artificial Colours, Hannah Wants, LiTek, Leon Lour & Felon, and Get Twisted Records continues to grow in stature, with four sell-out London shows in 2016 showing the power the label currently commands in the UK.
