Made By Pete - The Cave EP

London based producer Made By Pete releases on Kerri Chandler’s Madtech records this November, featuring two original tracks.

‘Made By Pete’ is a project that culminates twelve years of James Edwards’ experience in dance music. Going from strength to strength, Made By Pete has released on a plethora of labels including Simma Black and Toolroom Records as well as gaining radio support from the likes of Pete Tong, Mistajam and T.Williams. This most recent EP further establishes him as a purveyor of high-energy house music.

‘The Cave’ opens with ‘Cave In’, a blend of tight, rolling percussion, haunting vocal transitions and a bass line that truly resonates in the listener’s chest as well as combining perfectly with a mesmerising arpeggio that creeps in and out of the track, adding real movement to the composition.

The release closes with ‘Rhode Trip’, a track that demonstrates a similar grooving bass line but features more upbeat vocal hooks and percussive layers that add depth. The track is then elevated further by stylishly simple yet beautifully designed synths that pulsate throughout.
