The Follow-Up Is Here: La Fuente Unleases New Banger: ‘Ratata’

After grabbing global attention with his infectious banger, ‘I Want You,’ in 2022, La Fuente’s impetus has been on a meteoric rise ever since. Almost 24 months since ‘I Want You’ was unveiled, La Fuente unleashes an official follow-up of boisterous energy with the new single ‘Ratata.’

With its catchy hooks and irresistible rhythm, ‘Ratata’ is quintessential La Fuente, thanks to its uplifting, energetic, and smile-inducing inventiveness. The cross-contamination of heavy bass with its animated topline-equipped punch creates a raw, blustering liveliness that is nothing short of electrifying. All the necessary ingredients are abundant to ensure La Fuente’s ‘good factor’ vibe is front and centre!

Released via La Fuente’s own Full Colour Record label, high expectations surround ‘Ratata,’ which is set to be a solid dancefloor weapon for upping the ante at proceeding club and festival dates.

Speaking about ‘Ratata,’ La Fuente said, “The energy in the build-up works its way towards the break and it makes the crowd sing along like never before. Proud of this follow-up.”

Unmatched in energy and heartfelt in his approach, La Fuente, a.k.a. Job Smeltzer, is a house DJ with a blistering 300 shows per year and over 15 years of experience entertaining national and international crowds, the Eindhoven-born emerging star is a multidisciplinary talent who brings renewed passion to the world of electronic music.

La Fuente’s dedication to his music is evident in his desire to build on the success of ‘I Want You.’ With a BUMA award, a number #1 spot in the charts for 4 weeks, millions of streams and acclaim from global fans and critics, he poured his heart into ‘Ratata,’ aiming to deliver something special for the community. The single is a chance to ‘defy expectations and captivate the party-heads who love the ‘good vibe.’
