French duo The Forsaken provide the inaugural release on Moon Beam Records featuring three soulful tracks entitled ‘Corner Stone House’.
After discovering their love for specific hardware, it only felt natural for the the French duo to start making music together. The Forsaken share an extremely wide musical taste between them ranging from deep house to trip-hop which is reflected within their irresistibly uplifting productions. ‘Corner Stone House’ sees The Forsaken deliver the opening release on French label Moon Beam Records bringing together vast musical knowledge and experiences into a release focused on the deeper territories of house born from their analogue equipment.
‘Corner Stone House’ kicks things off with infectious vocals flowing with bouncy grooves and soulfully, sweeping tones keeping the tracks energy flowing before ‘C’s Got a Child’ progresses into a funk-infused rhythm balanced with jazzy chords, tranquil flutes and a reverberating bass notes. ‘La Bolognaise’ delightfully rounds off proceedings by fusing low-slung drums, cosmic synths and summer vibrations throughout.
