Splitting his time between his home city of Chicago and his base in Lausanne, Switzerland, it’s safe to say that Jose Zaragoza is one of the busiest men in the Dance music scene at present. Armed with a discography that includes releases on renowned imprints such as Robsoul, Casa Rossa and Greenhouse Recordings, it’s no wonder he has been booked to DJ at some of the world’s biggest festivals including Glastonbury, has a weekly residency at Chicago's legendary Smart Bar, hosts his very own radio shows JZ Music Radio Show and Deep Hype Sessions on HOF Radio, as well as running his Deep Hype Records imprint, which recently celebrated it’s 100th release – accomplishments aspiring artists can only dream of achieving.
Next to be added to Jose Zaragoza’s ever-expanding release catalogue is ‘The Freak Out EP’, a two-track EP that includes the perfectly crafted thrillers ‘What Is It’ and ‘You Betcha'’. Full of groovy House vibes, driving basslines and iconic 80s influenced synths, ‘The Freak Out’ is sure to get you grooving on dancefloors around the globe, making it a must have inclusion in any DJs record box.
