The Garden Party pt. 3

For the third and final event of the 2014 series, The Garden Party invites Huxley, Mano Le Tough, Richy Ahmed, Ryan Elliott, PBR Streetgang and more to set the tone this August bank holiday weekend.

Hard earned respect from your peers is a rare commodity but Huxley has it in spades. Since his late teens he’s been producing, seeing initial underground success as a garage producer before his sound partly mutated towards a deeper, house-based sound in the past few years. Anyone who has heard his recent sets for Rinse FM and Fact Magazine will know about his skills behind the decks, with his selections spanning house, garage, techno and beyond.

Recognised for his distinct electronic sound, Mano Le Tough first came into the limelight in 2009. A regular name at Panorama Bar, he has continued to express his distinct underground, melodic sound. Don’t sleep!

Richy Ahmed, the Hot Natured resident and part of the Hot Creations inner circle originally hails from Newcastle. Armed with a uniquely individual sound that fuses the energy of house and disco with infectious funk-inspired grooves and a touch of sullen mystery, his style has a distinct edge that’s impossible to pinpoint.

What matters most, above all else, is what comes through the speakers,” says Detroit’s Ryan Elliott. “It must be the right track at the right time, delivered in the right way.” Nobody knows this better than Elliott, whose distinction as an internationally respected DJ, remixer, and one-half of Spectral Sound’s A&R team has grown steadily over his decade-plus behind the decks. They don’t hand out “DJ’s DJ” reputations at the club door, and Elliott’s is well-earned and well-deserved.

Finally, disco advocates PBR Streetgang will be doing their thing and ensuring everyone has as much fun on the dancefloor as they do behind the decks until the early hours. Support will be provided by Matt Long, Brad Mercer and Christian Maiden, whilst Butter Side Up hold down the garden, and JCub and Ryan Shaw work the Grey Lounge.

Once again, there’s also going to be an array of mouth-watering food and cocktail options, all to be enjoyed in the summer sunshine!
