THE MARTINEZ BROTHERS MIX THE 50th EPISODE OF SUNDAY SCHOOL SESSIONS PODCAST

Sunday School Sessions—the weekly podcast series from Made Event, producers of ELECTRIC ZOO: TRANSFORMED—celebrated its 50th episode on July 5th with an exclusive mix from The Martinez Brothers (www.facebook.com/themartinezbrothers).  The NYC-based duo are headlining the Sunday School presents Awakenings Stage on Friday, September 4 of the major three-day electronic music festival taking place at Randall’s Island Park over Labor Day weekend.

The podcast is available now at:

All 50 mixes are exclusive to Made Event from globally respected techno, deep house, minimal and other underground music artists. Some artists have played for the Sunday School brand like The Martinez Brothers which makes them “Alum.” To date all episodes have racked up over 600,000 plays. All mixes are available every Sunday on the Sunday School Sessions Soundcloud (http://soundcloud.com/sundayschool-sessions) and via iTunes at  https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/sunday-school-sessions/id944025426?mt=2.

The Martinez Brothers are in the midst of quite a prolific stretch of their already celebrated career. Coming hot on the heels of their Masters at Dutch Volume 1 EP, they have recently remixed Art Department’s Kisses For Roses (via Mixmag) and have turned Tiga’s and Boys Noize’s ‘100’ into a 132 BPM acid house party starter – the track that was premiered by B.Traits this past weekend (http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0607f7d) and will release on July 17. The boys have also just released a remix for the legendary Basement Jaxx, putting their signature tech house groove on ‘Sneakin’ Toronto’.

This run of releases is, as always, accompanied by a hectic touring schedule, which is highlighted by their Electric Zoo set on September 04.  Other notable stops include their Circoloco residency at Ibiza’s DC10, Panorama Bar Berlin on 07/12, Fabric London on 08/07, and Creamfields UK on 08/28.
