The Outdoor Cinema ready for London, Kent, Newcastle, Bristol and Kingston adventures

Kick-starting the summer with a run of impressive cinematic adventures, The Outdoor Cinema bring its own unique brand of boutique film screenings to cities across the UK from July until September. With the countdown on until lift-off, The Outdoor Cinema reveal the titles that’ll make up programming for the inaugural events across London, Kent, Newcastle, Kent and Kingston. Expect modern and traditional classics including Mrs Doubtfire, The Wolf Of Wall Street, The Godfather, Grease and many more.

A high-energy tale of a life of excess, The Wolf of Wall Street will be screened across several dates, as well as 70’s gangster classic, The Godfather and feel-good fun for all the family comes with  Grease. Ultimate chick flick, Dirty Dancing and the story of everyones favourite cross-dressing nanny Mrs Doubtfire are also in the mix. The Outdoor Cinema will hold a tribute to Robin Williams on the 11th August in Kingston with a special screening of Mrs Doubtfire, with profits from the event being donated CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) who support males with mental health issues. Full calendar of announced screenings below. Tickets for all events can be purchased at theoutdoorcinema.co.uk/tickets

Complete with a fun-loving festival feel, The Outdoor Cinema challenges pre-conceptions of traditional cinema. Nightclubs, islands, stately homes and extravagant grounds all make up just some of the experimental locations included, bringing a magical, wholly unique vibe to each event. Team this with user-voted film selection, plus fun extras – tempting street food delights, and sweet and salted pop corn treats – and you’ve found the perfect way to while away lazy summer days with friends, family and loved ones.

Borne from a group of passionate, like-minded friends working within the music and events world, The Outdoor Cinema rocketed from 0 to 95,000 Facebook fans within the space of the week during launch. Ran by a team of event pros, The Outdoor Cinema is truly like no other – a project with real heart and soul.
