Having spent the better part of the last decade deep in scene, Rafael has opened many people’s eyes and ears to the genre on an international level. Be it his radio show in Sau Paolo, his 3 piece Brazilian ensemble Nomumbah, or under his own name, Rafael doesn’t stop surprising; his latest EP on Get Physical, ‘The Physical Experience’ is no exception.
With ‘Brookline’ leading the charge and a heavier remix from Reno Wurzbacher hot on its tails, the EP explores a steamy side of house that seeks to pull you in with its simplicity.
A lighter track with plenty of hustle, the Original simmers while Reno’s Wurzbacher Mix shakes things down and opts for a deeper drive. ‘Calling’ takes us into a new world with a saucy groove and after hour ambience, wrapping up the EP beautifully while maintaining a smooth balance between directions.
