Adam Beyer, Apollonia, Dubfire, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Richy Ahmed, The Black Madonna and more announced for Chapter XIII in Birmingham…
Easter weekend 2017 will once again see The Rainbow Venues, Birmingham celebrate the past, present and future of dance music, food and art with Chapter XIII, an event held across a number of different and exciting spaces. This annual birthday celebration of underground music also encompasses an art exhibition, six carefully selected and award winning food traders and many more surprises, surely making it the most comprehensive and accomplished of its sort anywhere in the UK.
Chapter XIII is a metropolitan festival taking place against the industrial backdrop of Birmingham’s iconic Victorian railway arches. The expertly curated programming will provide attendees with over 12 hours of House & Techno across 9 uniquely-crafted stages. The Rainbow Venue spaces are vast and varied, ranging from intimate enclaves to outstanding arenas. Chapter XIII also fuses world-class pyrotechnics to compliment the music, and harnesses cutting edge lighting & laser technology to engulf audiences and offer a breathtaking festival experience.
Influential labels from the worlds of house, techno, garage, bass and more all get in on the fun and host stages including Drumcode, Leftfoot and Art of Dark. Playing them will be world class DJs such as Adam Beyer, Midland, The Black Madonna, Treatment, Dense & Pika, Joseph Capriati, Apollonia, Jamie Jones, Dubfire, local hero Adam Shelton and Lewis Oxley, Gerd Janson, Mark E, Perlon boss Zip, Djebali, John Dimas, Premiesku and many more.
To add further fuel to the fire, local brand Portal will also be on hand to host a very special warehouse shindig. The secret warehouse event will run for the duration of Chapter XIII with the line up to be announced.
Aside from the musical offerings, also appearing at this all-encompassing food and music gathering will be Baked in Brick, winner of the British Street Food Award 2016 for their incredible Neapolitan style pizzas, plus Spotlight, the home of award winning street food event Digbeth Dining Club.
For those who like to treat themselves, a brand new VIP area will welcome you with open arms, and there will also be a new, fully re-designed chill out area which will allow you to take a step back and soak up the vibes in a more relaxed setting.
Adding a new and artistic element to Chapter XIII, an exhibition of esteemed local artist, Rob Low’s inspiring photographs of Birmingham will be featured around the site. All themed around the city’s architecture and famous Brutalist style, Low’s images are also prominent in the festival’s artwork.
Chapter XIII is set to be the best yet, with more music, food, art and concept dining on offer than ever before. All this is put together by the dedicated and experienced team at The Rainbow Venues, who have proved over the last 13 years that they really know how to throw a show stopping party.
