The Reactivitz Returns To FORM Music with Early Reflections EP

Following the critically acclaimed release of his FORM Music debut with the three-track ‘Seth’ EP in 2018, burgeoning French techno star The Reactivitz returns to the POPOF’s esteemed imprint almost exactly one year on for his highly anticipated sophomore outing, ‘Early Reflections’.

Out now, this fine follow-up from the The Reactivitz features two hard-hitting original mixes from the budding Frenchman and a dynamic remix from Belgian stalwarts Filterheadz.

Igniting the EP with the unrelenting title track ‘Early Reflections’, The Reactivitz makes his intentions known from the off, as he lays down a pounding six-minute cut complete with pounding bass kicks, drawn out breakdowns and a mesmerizing melodic synth riff perfectly crafted for those peak time hours.

Long-standing Belgian duo Filterheadz deliver the second track of the package, offering up their techier interpretation of The Reactivitz’s hefty opener. Going all-in from the word go, Maarten and Bert’s remix soon breaks down into a tornado of arpeggiated synths and deep sub-bass before returning to the metallic soundscapes of the uncompromising intro.

Completing the release with the final track ‘Tension’, The Reactivitz’s closer does exactly what it says on the tin, as rumbling lower end and a plethora of dark, industrial samples combine in perfect accord, to wrap another impressive EP on POPOF’s FORM Music.
