Spanish producer AFFKT debuts on German imprint Kittball Records with a two track EP titled ‘The Rush Flint’.
Sincopat head-honcho Marc Martinez Nadal has been producing under his AFFKT moniker since 2007, including label appearances on Suara, Kling Klong, Noir and Snatch! AFFKT’s musical aesthetic employs compelling grooves with heady rhythms and in recent years the Valencian’s high-octane DJ performances have graced the likes of Space and Sankeys Ibiza, Kater Blau Berlin and Ministry of Sound London.
The atmospheric ‘No Rush’ initiates the release with chattering hits and chopped vocal licks before soulful reverbs and spaced-out breaks further intensify the groove. ‘Flint’ then takes things into darker territories with shadowy bass hums, piercing melodies and robotic drones flecked throughout.
AFFKT ‘The Rush Flint EP’ drops on Kittball on 26th August 2016.
