East London’s biggest and best street party hosted by The Star Of Bethnal Green returns for a massive Bank Holiday bash on Monday 29th May. Now in it’s 6th year, the much loved East End boozer present another alfresco-all dayer to kick off the summer in true block party style, The Star’s covered all bases. Their favourite selectors return, spinning everything from funk and soul to house and disco all day from their very own disco caravan. With craft beers, cocktails, soft drinks and a handpicked selection of the city’s tastiest street food offerings dished up til late, you’ll be set to dance the whole day. There’s a whole load on offer for kids, including facepainting, a bouncy castle and The Star of Bethnal Green’s very own photo booth. Tickets are available for £5, grab em while you can, here.
DJs Stuart Patterson, Hot Blood, THE PUSHAMANN, Nick Gynn, Strangers in Paradise, Size Doesn't Matter (SDM) UK and Nadean D Foster are on hand to make you move. Our best selectors will be spinning the sweetest funk, soul, disco grooves all day long, from the Star’s sparkly disco ball caravan. As always, when the sun goes down, the party heads indoors into the Star of Bethnal Green setting, heating up ‘til late with non-stop jams right through until 2am.
A delicious range of street food to suit all tastes will be on offer from traders loved across the whole of London. Carnival vibes are catered to with Mama's Jerk, the heads behind the most tastiest Carribean food, while Laksa East bring heat and flavour with their authentic Singaporean curries. The Patate are also on hand to dish up their unique French fast food fusion with their now infamous burgers.
The Star of Bethnal Green Street Party aims to unite both businesses and residents for a packed out day of fun, all presented by The Star family.
