Tact Recordings co-founder and Adventures In Daydreams member Richard Fletcher steps out under his new ‘roadman’ alias this February, with two intricately programmed cuts marking his 2017 arrival.
Having previously released on 20/20 Vision and on his own imprint Tact Recordings alongside Alex Brown as Adventures in Daydreams, Richard Fletcher has accumulated an impressive string of EP’s over the past four years, gaining support from industry heavyweights including the likes of Laurent Garnier, Larry Heard and Mr. G. 2017 is set to welcome a new project to kick off proceedings for both Fletcher and the imprint, and the result is another outstanding package from the Berlin based producer.
Title cut ‘The Wall’ opens up the EP in fine style, utilizing a subtle blend of intricate percussion patterns, airy pads and blossoming melodies that flow delicately in and out of the production throughout it’s captivating six and a half minute duration.
On the flip, ‘2% Dry’ skillfully fuses deep, resonant bass lines with radiant chords, whilst dubby atmospherics bubble fluently underneath crunchy hats, shaping up yet another impressive release from Tact Recordings.
roadman ‘The Wall’ EP is out on Tact Recordings on 10th February 2017.
