Kasra V - The Window EP

New record label Feelings Worldwide launches with four-track EP ‘The Window’ from hotly-tipped producer, Kasra V. 
 
Following in the footsteps of the much-loved Feelings parties, releases on the label will pair exciting new acts alongside the pioneers of dance music responsible for creating the blueprint inspiring the new generation of producers.
 
For the first release Feelings have enlisted Iranian born, London-based producer Kasra V, delivering an incredible slice of middle-eastern inspired house. The A-side nods to early 90s sounds with ‘Fantasy’, a dance floor thumper with a tribal house feel you could imagine rolling out the speakers at a dreamscape party, followed by the dreamy ‘Pris’ providing a contrasting sunrise vibe to the leading track. On the flip is ‘Myth’ a steady piano-led builder inspired and written in the style of southern Iranian tribal music, followed by a remix of the same track from legendary NYC producer Cozmo D under his Dream 2 Science alias, bringing a straighter dancefloor ready version with the heavy deep house flavours his D2S project is lauded for.
 
Kasra’s distinct musical upbringing has left him with a digger’s mentality that’s geared toward a mix of purist house grooves, Balearic rhythms and synth­ heavy disco stylings, all imbued with a distinct middle­ Eastern edge and his experiences at home and abroad have informed an experimental, dancefloor orientated approach to house music that does as much for the mind as it does for the body.
 
Now based in London where he has built a solid reputation on the city’s underground circuit as host of the biweekly “Paradise Show” on NTS Radio, Kasra looks set to take both the city and the scene by storm.
