Having already amassed nearly a quarter of a million plays on SoundCloud alone, and with a wealth of support from some of the most renowned DJs in the world, The Writers Block have now released their highly anticipated EP ‘Don’t Look Any Further’ – out now via Ultra Records/Sony Music!
 
Ever since their formation a year ago, the production trio that consists of Detox, Kam and Haile have been causing a stir on the dance music scene. In this short time they have managed to arm themselves with a loyal legion of followers, offering up to them a host of originals for their delectation. It is now following the release of this debut EP that the three Londoners are on track to becoming the next big thing in dance music.
 
With a host of amazing remixes featured on Part 1 of the EP to support the original, including a groovy Dub edit from German DJ/Producer Wankelmut, which was premiered on Mixmag, as well as a bass fueled energetic refix by up-and-coming producer Endor, this EP truly is a testament to the current climate of dance music and lands in our laps just in time for the festive period.

The second part of the remix EP is unsurprisingly just as spectacular as the first, with a huge edit from Logistics providing a slice of drum and bass to proceedings, whilst Ganzfeld Effect and Federico Scavo bring back the summer vibes with their house remixes. The four track second part is then rounded off with a special garage-fueled twist from the creators of the original as the The Writers Block throw down their very own VIP remix.

These huge tracks have now garnered support from some of the biggest tastemakers around, with BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 1Xtra, Capital Xtra, Rinse FM and Kiss FM just a few of the stations that are dancing to the of The Writers Block. With the original reaching the #1 spot on the Music Week Upfront Club charts, the boys celebrated things with the release of their hilariously cheeky music video that goes perfectly with the infectious track.
