Tantalising dance duo TIBASKO return with their beautiful new single ‘When U Wake’, out on Friday 11th October via their new label home, [PIAS] Électronique.

This is part of a string of singles leading towards an EP, out on 8th November, that will wrap up a thriving 2024 for the pair, in which they’ve played sold-out shows at Colour Factory, Night Tales and KOKO, as well as festivals such as such as The Great Escape Festival, The Secret Garden Party and curated their own stage at Brockwood Festival. The London-based pair also performed for Lab54, a filmed set which garnered 1M+ IG reel views.

‘When U Wake’ centres around ethereal vocals that are chopped and twisted, drenched in delay and reverb, thrown into an abyss of glistening synths and leftfield drums. Through layers of huge pads and magical synths, TIBASKO create a cavernous sonic landscape that draws you in hypnotisingly.

This year, TIBASKO have defined their melancholic yet energetic sound, while simultaneously showcasing their diverse range in styles. In May, they released ‘Snif & Snüf’, an unexpected rave-flavoured breaksy banger, followed by June’s epic ‘U Know Me?’ and July’s cinematic showstopper, ‘Running’.

Following a year of shows at festivals and sold-out performances at Colour Factory, Night Tales and KOKO (1.5k capacity), as well as launching their new live brand isoTHERMAL, the duo hit the US in October. They play Brooklyn, Chicago, San Fransisco, Sacramento and Denver before returning to the UK for Warehouse Project in November, then to the infamous Corsica Studios in London for their much-anticipated TIBASKO – LIVE show. This live show has been years in the making for TIBASKO, and sees them play past hits and unheard tracks on live instruments.

Brimming with innovation, energy and personality, TIBASKO will soon round off the year as one of the most exciting electronic acts the UK has to offer. With 2025 coming, new music and a live show on the way, the future is bright for TIBASKO.
