Octopus Recordings boss Sian and Items And Things founder Marc Houle return to Octopus to deliver their second full EP under their new project ‘Marsian’, with two driving cuts this April.
Having launched the new and highly anticipated project back in February via their ‘X-Rays’ EP, gaining support from the likes of Sasha, Noir and Davide Squillace, Sian and Marc Houle’s ‘Marsian’ is set to become a firm fixture of both artist’s calendars and release catalogs throughout 2018. With the arrival of their live debut confirmed for Octopus’ showcase during Movement, Detroit, and a tour of both North and South America set to follow soon after, the duo will showcase their raw, warehouse ready venture via a series of scintillating live performances and expertly worked EP releases, starting this April with ‘Time To Change Your Time’.
Title track ‘Time To Change Your Time’ opens the release with authority, as Sian and Houle fluently combine an array of menacing bass licks, thunderous kicks with off-kilter synth leads and haunting, lingering vocals to reveal a driving production geared for the peak time.
On the flip, ‘Don’t Stop’ takes up a more stripped back make up, with infectious vocal hooks and sharp, metallic tones guided by a commanding percussion arrangement to shape up an impressive follow up two-tracker.
Marsian ‘Time To Change Your Time’ EP is out on Octopus Recordings on 16th April 2018.
