UK duo Solardo debut on Repopulate Mars with a two track release entitled ‘Today’s News EP’ this February.
Manchester’s finest, Solardo need little introduction as they continue to tour the world, dominate the charts with releases on reputable imprints like Hot Creations, Relief and VIVa, not to mention helm their own label Sola?. Counting Lee Foss as a fan, they now kick start 2018 by joining Repopulate Mars following artists such as CamelPhat, Paolo Martini, Latmun, Eli Brown, Mat.Joe and Detlef.
Rumbling bass, crunchy snares and an infectious melody make up ‘Today’s News’ whilst a sample – which many will recognise from a viral Fox News video – is brought in and out of the mix. ‘Give Yourself Up’ then nods towards dance music’s heyday with a rave inspired aesthetic complete with energetic hats and claps, classic samples and echoing effects.
Solardo ‘Today’s News EP’ drops on Repopulate Mars on 23rd February 2018.
