Together & Disciples Present ‘The Following’

After sparking a frenzy of rumours and speculation following a series of teasers appearing on social media, we can now confirm that Disciples & Together will present The Following on New Year’s Eve, Saturday 31st December 2016. The line up for the landmark event includes Disciples, Camelphat, DJ S.K.T., KDA, plus Very Special Guests Shadow Child B2B Friend Within.

This very special date will see one of the UK’s hottest talents culminate an incredible twelve months, in the heart of London, as they take over Electric Brixton in their most anticipated performance in the capital to date.

Following a standout year for the breakthrough trio, which has seen them embark on an incredible journey to the forefront of electronic music, Disciples have chosen to celebrate with the launch of a new project in the capital. The past year has witnessed a catalogue of impressive milestones and achievements including the release of several chart-topping releases, standout festival performances at Glastonbury, South West Four, Reading & Leeds, Exit and Made In America to name a few plus becoming the first artists to receive Pete Tong’s ‘Essential New Tune’, Annie Mac’s ‘Hottest Record In The World Right Now’, and Danny Howards ‘Future Anthem’, within the same 24 hours.

Disciples’ underground presence has also grown considerably over the summer thanks to a multi-date residency for Together at Amnesia Ibiza. Now ready to team up with Together once again, these anticipated celebrations would see them invite some very special guests for what promises to be a truly unforgettable night.

Very special guest Shadow Child has been at the forefront of house music both in Britain and internationally for over a decade. The past 2 years have been his busiest years to date: in addition to the collaborations with T Williams, Huxley, Ben Pearce, S.P.Y, Ashworth, and more on his ‘Connected’ album, he’s also dropped remixes for The Prodigy, The xx and Hot Natured, headed out on US, UK and European tours, and made sure his regular Rinse FM show is unmissable. Not to mention running Food Music with releases from A1 Bassline, Boxia and NT89. He plays Together NYE back to back with Disclosure collaborator Friend Within, who has made incredible strides since he burst onto the scene in 2013 with releases on Dirtybird and PETS and subsequent outings on Hypercolour, Disclosure’s Method Music, and Red Bull Music.

Supporting Disciples will be CamelPhat, aka Mike Di Scala and Dave Whelan, who have garnered support across the board for their quality house productions since launching their alliance in 2008. With big tracks on Spinnin Deep, Suara, Axtone and Jeudi Records, the duo’s old school sampling house track ‘Make ‘Em Dance’, was one of the big Ibiza tracks of 2016. Following his 2015 hit ‘Take Me Away’, DJ S.K.T has been busy with his weekly residency on Kiss FM, which is greatly supported by other tastemakers such as Annie Mac, Pete Tong, Danny Howard, Mistajam, DJ Target, MK, Roger Sanchez, Amine Edge & Dance and Idris Elba. On top of that, his latest single ‘All I Wanna Do’ (featuring London-based singer Taet), has been making waves across the UK garage scene. Outside of the studio, he appeared at Together (Ibiza), We Are FSTVL, Glastonbury, SW4, Reading Festival, Creamfields, Wireless, T In the Park and Exit Festival in 2016.

Also appearing will be KDA aka Kris Di Angelis, who scored big with his debut single ‘Turn The Music Louder (Rumble)’ featuring Tinie Tempah and Katy B, topping the UK singles chart in 2015. KDA’s follow-up release, ‘Just Say’ feat. Tinashe, is currently one of the biggest crossover house tracks.
