Toi.Toi.Musik hits BCN OFF WEEK for 7th Birthday

TOI.TOI MUSIK, one of the London scene’s most sacred and unified club nights is back in Barcelona for OFF-WEEK to celebrate 7 years. With an ethos rooted in the best possible sound design plus founders Isis Salvaterra and Claus Voigtmann’s unwavering musical integrity, they will be returning to Poble Espanyol’s INPUT High Fidelity Dance Club for the 3rd year running on Thursday 15th June; bringing a high-calibre line-up of family artists and their own dedicated sound team to ensure the true Toi.Toi experience is fully delivered!

Headlining is a very special guest from the UK, an inimitable veteran selector close to the toi.toi family who never disappoints. You can also catch Dutch wunderkind Ion Ludwig, whose sensational live set has been a true highlight in recent years. Combining drum machines and synthesizers with a laptop and recordings from older and newer work, his sound radiates a never-ending story and energy.

Also back to do the business is German producer Audio Werner, founder of the label Hartchef Discos with releases out on minimal cornerstones such as Perlon, Cabinet and Minibar and Toi.Toi Musik. As ever, original Toi.Toi resident and Hello?Repeat co-founder Jan Krueger will be representing. A dedicated member of the crew since the beginning and a highly skilled DJ, Jan kills it everytime.

A key figure in electronic music since the early 90s, Peter Kremeier aka Losoul stands for a classy strain of rolling, groovy minimal with a jazz like sensibility. He’s back this year along with fellow Toi.Toi family, Nicola Kazimir, a multi-faceted artist from the Les Points collective and Junkie Inoue – another hero of the London scene via Tokyo.

Toi.Toi founder and head resident Voigtmann will of course be bringing his impeccable technical flair and deep musical knowledge to the proceedings. As a producer Voigtmann has been soaring in the past couple of years with a number of sell out vinyl releases (championed by the likes of Ricardo Villalobos) and a debut album in the works. Completing the line-up is Berlin’s Club der Visionaere resident Topper who’ll be making his Toi.Toi debut.

"Toi.Toi.Musik is more than just a club night, agency and record label – Toi.Toi is a complete musical culture and philosophy; one that fights against the tide when so much of the electronic music scene moves towards commercialisation and imitation." 7 years on, Toi.Toi’s ever-evolving family of world-class artists is testament to this fighting spirit being now, stronger than ever.
