Tokyo Nights Presents ENTER.SAKE

Night Tales opened its doors on Tokyo Nights at the end of October 2015 , transforming their 25,000 sq ft open air plot in Shoreditch into a scene from the back streets of Japan across four bars, eight Ryokans (Japanese houses), a Love Hotel and six high quality food outlets serving knockout Asian and contemporary food. Since its launch, Tokyo Nights has hosted surprise performances from Norman Jay, Maya Jane Coles, Maribou State, Will Saul, Ben Pearce and Pedestrian, cementing its place at the heart of London’s next embodiment of evolutionary nightlife.

The centrepiece of Tokyo Nights is the sake bar, the debut stockist of ENTER.Sake, a boutique sake collection curated by musician and DJ Richie Hawtin, a music icon since the late 1980s continually at the frontiers of music, art, and technology. On Thursday 19th November Tokyo Nights will play host to the ENTER.Sake team and Richie Hawtin himself to celebrate the launch of the range in the UK with an evening of Sake tasting, Japanese street food and music by ENTER.Sake resident Hito. Richie has been exploring the world of sake for twenty years during his extensive trips to Japan. He earned the Advanced Sake Professional Certification and was made an official Sake Samurai by the Japanese Sake Brewers Association in 2014 for his efforts in promoting sake abroad. For the past three years, Richie has tirelessly promoted sake as a core part of the ENTER. experience at their events throughout the world. ENTER in Ibiza has Europe’s largest sake bar stocked with special sakes not available anywhere else outside of Japan.

Only a quarter of the way through its eight week run (ending 19th December), Tokyo Nights still has takeovers and surprise guests in store from the likes of Electric Minds, Late Night Tales, Eddie Richards and Dimensions festival. Plus the 500 capacity Red Gallery is now hosting intimate after parties until 4am a few steps away, stretching out the magic of those winter nights.
