Well and truly smashing it this summer, Size Records are back with their latest instalment from Tom Staar & Ansolo – ‘Totem’ is set for release on 21st July 2014.
Maintaining the high standard of previous Size releases, ‘Totem’ is a melodic masterpiece of a house anthem. All about the full on tribal assault, the track combines dark synths with thumping drums and a hypnotic vocal that will stick in your head for days.
Like a flare into the heart of the global dance music stadium, Tom Staar’s 2012 remix of ‘African Drop’ grabbed the attention of every A-List DJ on the scene, gaining heavy support from Swedish House Mafia, Afrojack and A-Trak, resulting in a flurry of remix requests from each respective camp. Fast forward to now and with releases on labels such as Armada, Spinnin and Toolroom to name just a few, Tom Staar is still only getting started.
20 year old Ansolo is a relative newcomer on the scene, but his stats are already mounting up. An actor by day, appearing in Divergent and Carrie, his first single ‘Unite’, which dropped on Tom Staar’s brand new label Staar Traxx, charted at #5 on the beatport progressive charts and received support from artists such as Steve Angello, Fedde Le Grand and Danny Howard.
