Torio – Call To You

As one of the most exciting projects coming through the ranks in Big Room Progressive and Electro House – Torio’s setting the world on fire this year with a surge of releases that are sending the hype around his name through the roof and into the skies. Currently flying high in the Progressive House sales charts with ‘Ever After’ – Torio’s not sitting on his tracks for long this year as he’s back already with another addition to his collection with ‘Call To You’ featuring Ultra Music favourite Little Lisa, which drops this week on Manufactured Music (Black Hole Recordings).

Right from the start, you know it’s another high-end production from Torio. Stuttered vocal chops and risers swell into the breakdown which stacks filtered down chords and a choppy arp synth that dances around the higher frequencies. Little Lisa’s angelic vocals do the job of adding that layer of euphoria that Torio’s productions do so well. Propelling up into the first drop ‘Call To You’ spins out of control into a lively main section that’s got a rapidly staggered bass and screaming leads for peak time reaction. A stunning string section breakdown and keyed chords create a special moment of bliss for the middle break. Torio has mastered the buildup and now that he’s fully developed his own style – the results are putting him right up there with the very best producers in the game. Always able to let his synth work sing to reinforce the vocalists that he loves to have on board, his single releases are catching on throughout the dance music world and DJs from the top down are racking up the support for one of the most impressive breakthrough producers of 2014.

Never one to sit back and wait out the shelf life of a release’s success, it’s all about output for Torio. Some producers don’t seem to run into creative blocks and judging by the sheer volume of seriously high quality releases Torio is racking up this year – he’s a talent that’s never short on ideas for the next project.

‘Call To You’ is out now on Manufactured Music.
