Tough Love – Loving You & Hating Me

Get Twisted Records 5th installment returns with head honchos and label founders Tough Love. The duo have been in a rich vain of form recently, with heavy weight releases on Off Recordings, Toolroom & Nurvous. Support for the London based duo is growing globally at an impressive rate.

Their last release “In My Way EP” hit the Beatport top 10 House Chart as well as taking the number 1 spot on Ministry of Sounds House chart not forgetting solid radio support from the likes of Pete Tong, Tiesto & B.Traits.

The EP is fuelled by the ever popular Love/Hate subject matter.  “Loving You” Is as big and bold as any previous Tough Love track. Opening with a calming, haunting intro with subtle vocal licks leaving the listener waiting in anticipation for Tough Loves trade mark thumping drop. The garage-esq drums and chopped vocal keeps the ear interested and the body moving. Big bass, big beats & female friendly vocals means this track is primed and ready for any dance floor. “Loving You” is a must have in any DJs arsenal.

“Hating Me” plays on a catchy anthemic hook & bass melody balanced beautifully, with a familiar organ top that adds a certain depth & sweetness. The pad & strings bring a sense of tranquility allowing an emphatic drop with a vocal chop and snare roll back into the infectious hook line.

Tough Love have always said they don’t do B’sides and this is testament to that statement.
