Trade celebrates its Birthday switching things up with a move to Hackney Wick’s Number 90

Saturday 18 October 2025 | 2pm – 2am | Number 90, Hackney Wick

Often Copied, Never Equalled’ – the legendary TRADE party moves to Hackney Wick for its return, with Fat Tony back to party on the decks

  • New Venue – Hackney Wick, Number 90
  • New Daytime Timeslot – 2pm to 2am
  • TRADE Legend – Fat Tony returns
  • New Line-Up – refreshed DJs alongside TRADE Residents
  • 3 Dancefloors – Two club rooms + The Boat

The wait is over: TRADE returns. The UK’s original queer after-hours phenomenon, and the club that tore up the rulebook and invented daytime clubbing, is back with The Birthday – a celebration of iconic clubbing history.

For this milestone, TRADE moves east, taking over the newly remodelled Number 90 in Hackney Wick. With three dancefloors, including The Boat, a huge upgraded D&B sound system, and a stunning extended canalside terrace, it’s the perfect new home for TRADE’s legendary marathon sessions.

And true to its trailblazing reputation, TRADE is once again ahead of the curve – running from 2pm to 2am. Long before festivals and afterparties made daytime raving the norm, TRADE pioneered the concept. Now, the innovators return to their roots with a 12-hour day-into-night journey of house, techno, and harder beats.

“The sound that Trade championed is now being played out to dancefloors across the world. It felt the right time for Trade to return. Hackney Wick, and the venue Number 90 – a fantastic underground space – feels perfect for Trade to come back with new energy”   Laurence Malice, Trade creator

Its influence has touched everything from mainstream dance music to underground queer culture, and its fanbase has included Björk, Jean-Paul Gaultier, Boy George, Alexander McQueen, Kylie and countless others.

Now, in 2025, TRADE continues to bring together all the tribes of queer clubbing for a singular, inclusive experience.
