Tramlines + Bloom.fm Join Forces

Tramlines, Sheffield’s award winning inner-city festival, has partnered with ground-breaking music app Bloom.fm to launch the official streaming radio for the festival.

Bloom.fm’s Tramlines radio will help festivals-goers make the most of their weekend by previewing hundreds of artists on the Tramlines 2013 festival bill, including Lianne La Havas, 2.54, Dog Is Dead, Dutch Uncles and many more.

Festival director Sarah Nulty said: “We’re delighted to offer Tramlines radio through the Bloom.fm app. It’s a great way to discover music from the acts on our line-up before, during and after the festival. Bloom.fm is a young and innovative UK company that shares our passion for great music.

Bloom.fm can be downloaded free from the App Store here: http://www.bloom.fm/iphone.

To celebrate the launch of the radio, and Bloom.fm as Main Stage Sponsors, Tramlines is giving away five pairs of weekend hospitality tickets.

To enter, head to the Tramlines Facebook http://facebook.com/tramlines, ‘Like’ the Bloom.fm competition post and tell us which act you’re most looking forward to seeing this weekend. It can be viewed here http://tinyurl.com/trambloom

Early-bird weekend tickets for Tramlines 2013 have now sold out. Advance day tickets are still available for all three days priced at just £6 per day. All Tramlines core venues will also have tickets on sale on the door all weekend. Visit the FAQ page to find out more http://2013.tramlines.org.uk/faq/ Under 5s go free.

Tramlines attracts over 150,000 people over the three day festival, turning Sheffield into one massive festival site, creating the feel and atmosphere that rivals any green field festival site. It covers all music genres from indie, electronica and blues to world music, folk and everything in between.

Over 60 of Sheffield’s music venues and performance spaces will be pulling out the stops staging hundreds of artists across the city. Devonshire Green’s Main Stage and the new ¬and ¬improved Stage 2 will be home to some of the most exciting artists around.

There’ll be an expanded dance music programme, a Street Theatre area, and the welcome return of the Folk Forest, the Peace Gardens’ World Stage, the Buskers Bus, the Weston Park party and the Blues and Ale Trail.

Wrist bands are needed for the main stages and music venues you would usually pay to enter (Leadmill, Harley, DQ, Plug, O2 and so on) The wristband will also get you priority entry into free venues operating in the city centre.
