After the huge success of Leeds’ new multi-venue festival inner city electronic, the team now proudly announce an exclusive stand-alone show featuring a DJ performance from electronic pioneer Trentemøller. The performance will be Trentemøller’s only U.K show this year and takes place at the stunning grade 2 listed Church (Church Leeds) on October 27th.
Trentemøller has stood amongst some of the most iconic and influential artists in electronic music since his critically acclaimed breakthrough LP ‘The Last Resort’, an album that pioneered a refreshing new sound, carving a new path for emotive techno, minimal and eerie electronica.
His fifth studio album back in 2016 was yet another dramatic and studiously emotive affair, guiding you through wintry indie landscapes, dusky synth hymns and Depeche Mode pop noir with a real sense of style. It came on his own label and with a brilliant, utterly immersive live show, dubbed one of the best live experiences dance music has to offer.
His DJ sets continue to be just as thrilling, drawing on a world of emotional techno, house, dub and minimal. Church Leeds offers the perfect setting with its huge stained glass windows, awe inspiring scale and generally spiritual atmosphere.
This is set to be a one of a kind show and another historic night for Leeds, as Trentemøller returns to the city for the first time since 2007.
