Trickstar Radio rebrands and broadcasts to 3.6 million people

On Monday 1st March Trickstar Radio relaunches with a new look programme, website and a newly built app, with each featuring all shows on-demand and uploaded daily. 

The revamp also includes brand new studios, in partnership & powered by Funktion One and the roster features some of the hottest up and coming talent on the south coast, alongside some of the legends of the scene.

Est 2013, Trickstar Radio represents youth music culture, playing the freshest underground Hip Hop, electronic and dance music. For the past 7 years the station has broadcast to a Brighton DAB coverage of 400k and the new broadcast licence will enable Trickstar to reach listeners in the neighbouring cities of Bournemouth, Isle of Wight, Portsmouth & Southampton. This change has seen Increased DAB coverage to 3.6 million across the region, and has the station becoming the largest underground music culture radio station on the South Coast.

The roster features some of the hottest up and coming talent on the south coast, alongside some of the legends of the scene. The programme has seen a significant upgrade, and features a plethora of talent of all genres, from Dubstep to Techno, and everything in between.  An underground station for the underground scene.  Featuring a great mix of daily, weekly and monthly residency shows from a diverse range of talent, from Breakfast to the early hours, alongside world class live studio guest mix shows from talent further afield, and topped up with syndication of some of the biggest most reputable radio shows on the planet.

The future is now, and digital is today’s currency.  As a DAB station Trickstar are where their audience want and need them to be.  However, Trickstar Radio have secured and scheduled periods of FM broadcast to coincide with the stations presence at large scale long period events such as Boomtown, Glastonbury & Ultra Music Festival, in addition to large international music conferences, such as ADE and The WMC.
