Tube & Berger Team Up with Blake Light for ‘Data Compromised’

Joining forces for a collaboration of epic proportions, German musical trailblazers Tube & Berger join forces with French rocketing producer Blake Light for their hard-hitting cut Data Compromised – out now on ZEHN Records.

Demanding attention from the very first beat, the producers kick-start the cut with digitalised vocals, electrifying synths and thunderous bass. Orchestrating a mighty atmosphere with dramatic instrumentation and shuffling percussion, Data Compromised is expertly crafted to ignite dancefloors with its larger-than-life presence and hypnotic energy. Working together in perfect harmony, the producers combine their sounds, resulting in an explosive production that is worthy of the world’s largest and most iconic stages.

Globally renowned for infusing their rock & roll attitude into the world of tech house, Tube & Berger’s influence can be felt throughout the depths of the dance music scene. Emerging from the punk rock circuit, the friends discovered dance music through Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers, and began making their own electro-influenced tracks. Amassing over 100 million Spotify streams, and rocking the world’s most iconic stages, such as Pacha and Ushuaïa Ibiza, Printworks UK, Green Valley Brazil, Parookaville Germany, Tomorrowland Belgium, Tube & Berger never fail to incorporate their larger-than-life sound and energy into every release and performance. Founding their own imprints, the duo also run Kittball Records and ZEHN Records, releasing carefully selected records from producers from both revered artists and up-and-coming acts. Collaborating with a long list of influential musicians, Tube & Berger have released tracks with the likes of NERVO and Like Mike. As a Top 20 Beatport all-time bestseller, the duo has undoubtedly helped to shape the house genre, crafting several scene-defining records, including Imprint of Pleasure, which was named Beatport’s 9th best-selling track of all time and received an official remix by Adam Beyer.

Arthur Houille, also known as Blake Light, is French DJ and producer from Paris. Living in Brussels for over a decade, Blake’s passion for music was ignited at a young age constantly surrounded by music while he was growing up. Developing a sense for art, he began playing guitar at the age of 10. Inspired by a friend playing records at a house party, he became fixated on DJing, mesmerised by the likes of Axwell, Richie Hawtin and Steve Angello. During the process of finding himself, he experimented with different styles and names, but landed on Blake Light, a pun about the “black light neons” in every nightclub. Playing across the Belgian club circuit from 18 years old, Arthur cut his teeth and built his musical knowledge. His first release ‘Luzu’ was released on Arcadia Records in 2016, marking the beginning of his career as a releasing artist. Following up with ‘Mandala/Don’t Stop’ in 2017, the track was released on Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman’s Buce Records, as well as ‘Majoris’ on Arise Records. Getting lost in his artistic journey, he felt it was not the time for him to release his own productions, so he began to create for others. His tracks were signed to Spinnin’, Warner, Sony, Enormous Tunes, Adue and many more. This year, Arthur decided it was time to return to the release front with his own tracks, marking another new chapter in his impressive career.
