Turning Tide Records releasing first EP form Label Manager Paul Tyson “Give It Up”

Paul Tyson founded Turning Tide Records in February 2020. The label will primarily focus on showcasing his own productions, but will also be looking to find and sign the unfound talent of the future. The first release of the label is Paul Tyson`s “Give It Up” EP and will be available on all platforms on the 19th of June.
The tunes in this EP were designed using the Roland Cloud versions of The Jupiter 8, Juno 106 and the beats are 808 / 909, Arturia’s pigments were also used in the process. For Paul, this journey has a very deep meaning. He is focusing on good quality vocal hooks and melodies. His music is considered to be melodic with a variety of intertwining components and this EP encapsulates it.
The release kicks off with ‘“Give It Up” a track that sends you to Paul`s journey through a dark edge where you find contagious vocals and just enough melody that connects with a deep groove over a delightful bass.
Next comes “Sparks” which contains soulful vocals going along with arps that interact back and forth dynamically, making this gospel affair worth a listen.
Last but not least we go “Into The Light” with captivating hooks and melodies, the perfect combination for a great rolling groove experience.
