Tye David, an up-and-coming artist whose music blends R&B, funk, and pop, has announced the release of his debut album, MAKING MOVES. The album is a powerful exploration of love, heartbreak, and the journey toward self-empowerment.
Tye’s music career began in musical theatre, with performances around the world on cruise ships, theme parks, and international stages. However, during the pandemic, Tye began creating original music in his Kansas City home studio, marking a shift toward a more personal artistic expression. The result is, MAKING MOVES, an album that delves into Tye’s emotional experiences and his process of healing and growth.
The first single from the album, “troubled heart,” explores the beauty and hope of new love, while the recently released track, “superpowers,” closes the narrative arc with a song about finding strength and resilience after love is lost.
