Hang about… we think we spy a pattern emerging here! With his ‘Suicide Circus’ debut raising a salute to the eponymous Berlin nightspot, Jardin warms to his theme of the German capital with his sophomore creation.
And what better place for a track entitled ‘U-Bahn’ than the city’s foremost record label, we ask?! Yes, indeed, it is VANDIT who have again inked the producer’s latest homage to the place they call home.
As any native or resident will likely tell you, the iconic U-Bahn (or Untergrundbahn) is a fast, efficient, effective, underground mover of people. And hey, floor-side, that defines our ‘U-Bahn’ to a tee!
Cloaked as a secret ID weapon for several weeks, PvD premiered the track on VONYC Sessions 545 to a big online reception. One listen and it’s not hard to see (or hear!) why… Constructed around a primetime tempo, Jardin capitalizes on its purpose-filled drums with crisp, crowd-inciting percussion and boosted bass. Further up its range, you’ll find flourishing sub-melodies, which develop into touching piano parts and ultimately reveal its big, final mainline ‘Gotcha’!
Uplifting x uplifting – you can take a ride on Jardin’s 'U-Bahn' from today: https://www.beatport.com/release/u-bahn-extended/1989077
