Multi-instrumentalist Youngr kicks off another journey around the sun with hope, gratitude, and a downright funky beat in new single ‘RICH!.’ Out now on Youngr’s Blue Llama Records, ‘RICH!’ is a glimpse into his new album soon to be unveiled in 2024.
Having first sparked curiosity via Youngr’s YouTube channel in a real-time studio build last Autumn, ‘RICH!’ comes as a desired release. Entailing four minutes of snapping dance kicks, house keys, and a steady-grooving bassline decorated with intricate acoustic embellishments, ‘RICH!’ flirts with Youngr’s electronic dance influences, leaning into a rise and fall progression where the hypnotic instrumental takes lead.
Rising feelings of hope and elation are soon put into words with Youngr’s own to-the-beat, warped monologue that reads “bright lights, big tunes, full hearts, full rooms, we dance, we move, I’m rich with you.” Instantaneously, the mind goes straight to the dancefloor.
