ARTBAT returns to their UPPERGROUND label for a pair of standout new tracks in collaboration with Italian Dino Lenny.
Ukrainian duo ARTBAT have started 2022 in superb style with an unforgettable, sold out show in Tulum and a remix of ‘Age of Love’ with Pete Tong that has already topped the Beatport Top 100. It means they remain in their own unique world of musical emotion and dance floor hypnosis, with compelling drums and majestic synth scapes like no other. Proof of that comes with these two dramatic tracks alongside Dino Lenny, who has been a part of the global electronic scene for 20 years. He is founder of Frenetica and Fine Human Records, and has released on a range of other influential outlets.
These artists have worked together before to great success – their 2021 track ‘Fading’ on Afterlife received a lot of high profile support from across the industry, stemming from its bursts of melodic riffs and compelling vocals, and now comes a much anticipated follow up that further develops their masterfully melodic techno sound.
First up, ‘Our Space’ is a deep and imposing cavernous roller with Dino’s dramatic vocals hanging above the drums that will send shivers down the spine. Well sequenced chords build the atmosphere and layer in the sort of epic emotions that wash over the dance floor and create real euphoria. The emotive ‘Keep Calm’ has a crisper kicking groove, with shadowy vocals and rumbling bass building to a spine-tingling breakdown before the drop comes and carries you away once more.
Our Space is another innovative release on the fledgling UPPERGROUND label.
