Classic’s annual compilation is back, this time for an end-of-year review of sorts, celebrating an incredible twelve months for the label and a run of consistently radical, genius records, from the ultra-upfront disco/house hybrid sounds of Eli Escobar’s ‘Chaka Khan’, to the gloriously bonkers breakdowns of ‘Wonky Bassline Disco Banger’ by Red Rack’em.
Unfinished Business Volume 4 also showcases new releases on Classic by Honey Dijon, Luca Cazal, Ilija Rudman, Mikey V and Homero Espinosa & Mark Farina, plus a brand spanking new exclusive from label boss Luke Solomon's alter ego Lukatron. But it’s not all about Classic; staying true to the Unfinished Business model, Volume 4 includes some rare treats and soundbites from our good friends and partners in groove. Amongst all of the Classic goodness, Luke has included some secret squirrel records from other likeminded labels that have become essential set selections during his chaotic touring year, such as Chris Simmonds ‘Lonely Disco Dancer’ and San France Disco’s ‘Bringing Back Sweat to the Dance Floor’ (David Duriez Acid Mix).
Throw in some digital exclusives (‘Mystery Track Approved’ and Luke Solomon’s Body Edit of Maiians’ ‘Lemon’) and that’s the business complete. Or is it..?
