Ushuaïa Ibiza / Nic Fanciulli take a look at some of the highlights from the massively successful first season.
Today Ushuaïa Ibiza and curator Nic Fanciulli are reflecting on a massively successful and truly humbling first DANCE OR DIE season at the luxury open resort.
Ushuaïa and Fanciulli have welcomed some of the biggest names in dance music across eleven parties and last night closed things out with dance music legend Carl Cox going back-to-back with the DANCE OR DIE figurehead.
Other highlights across the three-month run include Nic’s unforgettable 40th birthday celebrations, where he found himself partaking in an impromptu back-to-back with Andrea Oliva and FISHER, while he also went back-to-back with FISHER on 4th September. Icons Guy Gerber and DJ Harvey played together on 11th September, with further highlights coming from CamelPhat B2B Solardo (28th August) and Carl Cox’s opening party set (19th June).
With a nod to the hedonistic days of rave, DANCE OR DIE has proven to be a no-nonsense event which is all about the experience on the dancefloor. Every Wednesday, Ushuaïa Ibiza has been transformed into a limitless, post-apocalyptic neon-playground, with revellers invited to dance under the sun, and into the night, as Nic and his expertly-curated lineup of guests transform your mind, body and soul.
“Season 1 of Dance Or Die has really been something special.” Fanciulli explains. “The energy in the venue throughout the summer has been completely unmatched. I’m so thankful for all the DJs that gave us their support this year, to everyone that came to see the show, and to Yann, Leslee, Romain and the whole team at Ushuaïa for their continued belief and support, and for helping create something truly magical. I’m excited to share what’s next for the brand, and to have closed out the season in style.”
With the first season completed, both Ushuaïa Ibiza and Nic Fanciulli are already looking ahead to next year and building the DANCE OR DIE empire.
