UV Festival returns on Saturday 9th August

A stone’s throw from Gatwick, New House Farm plays host to one of the most accessible ‘London Festivals’ in the middle of nowhere. UV Festival returns for another awe-inspiring 24 hours of mesmerising electronic music, stunning visual displays and unique festival treats, including UV Beer Pong, Yoga classes, relaxing massage and the unique “Bario Bounce”. In addition to their celebrated eclectic line-up, the visual intricacies at UV Festival are sure to appeal to both the musically and artistically minded.

For the third year running, UV Festival will feature ultra-violet body artists from Boudicca Blue Body Art who will provide their professional services to recreate the surreal atmosphere that makes the micro festival so unique. The artists of Boudicca Blue Body Art are known to get creative with their body art and strive to make each piece epic and one of a kind. The team also works with highly acclaimed clients such as Selfridges and Yves Saint Laurent, adding to their already highly recognized appeal and repertoire.

Boudicca Blue Body Art’s services start at around £5.00 – depending on the size and placement of the designs, with a percentage of the proceeds going to the military charity Help for Heroes. Last year the UV Festival proudly donated £1200.00 to the Princess Alice Hospice.

This year Hijacker Records have teamed up with Inspired Presents founder Suze Rosser in curating the festival line-up. After hosting shows featuring house music legends such as Steve Lawler (Viva Warriors), David Morales and Derrick Carter, Suze makes her much anticipated UV return, performing alongside already announced ONE BIT, The Wolf and headliners HIM_SELF_HER. New additions to the 2014 line-up also include Redsparrow, Cranky Neighbours, Rob Dyer, Santiago Street Machine (DJ set) and Chopper.

Hijacker Records, the founders of UV festival, have never been shy to experiment with the line-up, proud to provide an atmosphere for musical discovery. Early bird tickets have already SOLD OUT, and capacity has been limited to just 500 this year to keep the intimacy that helped to make the first two years such a success.

Boasting incredible underground music combined with the creative possibilities of the ultra-violet reactive paint and lighting rig, UV Festival is the perfect choice for a unique party experience.
