Valentino Khan’s Highly Anticipated “House Party” EP Drives a Classic Sound into the Future. Out Now on Mad Decent

After months of teasing fans with the nostalgia-meets-modern, dancefloor-friendly concept of his “House Party” EP, Valentino Khan has finally dropped the full version for our listening pleasure. The six-track collection features three new tracks alongside previously released singles including the early summer anthem “Pony,” vibey house collaboration ‘”JustYourSoul” with Diplo, and the in-your-face, sassy and sultry “Better” with WukiValentino also released “Flip the Switch” with Chris Lorenzo just a day before the full EP’s release, unleashing a hard-hitting, bass-heavy opener for “House Party.” Tech house and classic four-on-the-floor house influences are strong throughout all the tracks, but each has their own unique sound – from the bouncy “What’s Your Name” to the driving beat of “BRB,” Valentino has created tunes that are just as good through your headphones as they are from a club sound system.

“I set out to make an EP with a simple concept: great house music. Even though it’s been the backbone of dance music, I still have always looked to drive the sound forward. I wanted you to be able to listen to the music anywhere – driving in the car, in your bedroom, at the club or played out at a festival. I also wanted to bring in some collaborators that I felt have always been pushing boundaries in DiploWuki & Chris Lorenzo. So here’s my ‘House Party‘ EP. I’m truly proud to release this body of work to the world. Listen to this everywhere and anywhere.” – Valentino Khan

The world was introduced to LA-based DJ and producer Valentino Khan in 2014, when he burst onto the scene with his debut EP “In Khan We Trust” on Skrillex’OWSLA label. Khan’s sound possessed a unique versatility, incorporating elements of trap, bass, hardstyle, house and more into a driving, often heavy sound that found homes on labels such as Mad DecentSpinnin Records, and Ultra. In 2015Khan’s original track “Deep Down Low” became an international sensation, earning the title of “Most Played Track” of the year and topping Sirius XM’#1 Song of 2015 on Electric Area. Since then, he has earned a reputation as a remix master with official renditions of RL Grime’s “Pressure,” Alison Wonderland’s “Good Enough,” Calvin Harris’s “One Kiss” and more. His original productions include “Pump,” which has over 17M streams on Spotify, “Gold” with Sean Paul, as well as production credits for the likes of 2 ChainzB.O.B.Dizzee RascalIggy AzaleaT.I. and more. On the touring front, Khan sold out his show at the iconic Hollywood Palladiumthis year, featuring a b2b set with Shaquille O’Neal (DJ Diesel) and a surprise appearance by legend Snoop Dogg2019 has already been an epic year for Valentino Khan, and we can’t wait to see what happens in the second half!
