If you haven’t yet fallen in love with Verre, then you’re about to. The seductive quintet from Southern California is quickly winning over fans with its unique brand of decadent pop. “Imagine Sia, Vanessa Paradis, Goldfrapp, Brazilian Girls and Lana Del Rey rolled into one sensual musical delicacy,” describes Pop Dose. “Now that’s what I call a spicy meatball.”
Even the band’s name, which translates to “glass” in French, suggests the kind of elegance that makes heads turn. Comprised of Alice (vocals), Brandon (drums + piano), Chris (guitar), Kristina (bass) and Mike (guitar), the band has generated a significant amount of buzz over its latest track, “BLU.” “It’s possibly the most exciting thing we’ve heard this year,” declared Going Solo in 2014.
Verre is enthusiastically gearing up for their “Frames” series, which will please fans with visualettes for three songs from their EP. Each song, including “BLU” will be coupled with artwork, resulting in a unique framing concept.
