Vital Techniques return with masterful three-track single

The Leeds bass and garage duo release another of dose of bassline magic on DJ EZ’s Nuvolve label

Leeds-based duo Vital Techniques are back with their electrifying new three track single, out April 19th on DJ EZ’s Nuvolve label.

The dynamic UK bass duo’s latest collection shows off their specialty for killer hooks and masterful productions across three innovative tunes. Opener and title track ‘In My Head’ makes use of an earworm vocal sample, a dark bassline and euphoric piano chords, before ‘Run It’ spaces things out with a reverb-soaked production full of atmospheric breakdowns and inventive breakbeats. Project closer ‘Show Me Your Love’ adds the cherry on top with an uplifting vocal hook all-out club stormer.

The project follows a run of recent singles, most recently ‘Havana’ released on GS Dubs, as well as their collab with Sheffield up-and-comer April-Ess on previous Nuvolve single ‘Falling’ released last summer.

Vital Techniques are the Leeds-based duo behind the label Second To None Music. They have cemented their place in the UK bass scene with a number of acclaimed releases under their belt on their own imprint as well as others, including Crucast, 24hr Garage Girls, Southpoint, Four40 Records, Hot Cakes, Hatched, Dubshotta, Scrub A Dub and more. Radio and DJ support for the pair has stretched far and wide, with them receiving regular plays on Radio 1 / 1Xtra, Kiss FM and Rinse FM. With their sets and productions combining a mixture of garage, UK bass, dubstep, grime and drum & bass, Vital Techniques always keep listeners on their toes.

Vital Techniques’ upcoming singles add to the ever-growing collection of forward-thinking releases from DJ EZ’s Nuvolve label. Flying the flag for the constant evolution of the Garage genre, Nuvolve shines a light on future sounds and emerging artists whilst never forgetting its roots. A roster where legends like Todd Edwards and Sweet Female Attitude rub shoulders with white-hot risers like MPH and WZA pays testament to the label’s unique position of showcasing the brightest and best artists of the future alongside those of the past.

Vital Techniques continue to fly the flag for the UK bass scene with their latest releases. Long may it continue.
