VOLT Recordings Welcomes Auggië for ‘Charrè’ EP

The three-track package features two brand new Auggië originals and an official remix from Mano Le Tough

There’s a certain kind of heat that builds in a club like VOLT; thick with tension and alive with friction. That’s the energy Auggië thrives in. A core force within Milan’s electronic music scene and a long-time resident at VOLT, the Italian producer and DJ now steps into the spotlight with Charrè, a bold three-track EP featuring a standout remix from Irish electronic luminary Mano Le Tough.

Available from July 25 on VOLT Recordings, Charrè is a rich and shape-shifting body of work that captures the essence of Auggië’s singular sonic language – one that blends harmonious fluidity with jagged, metallic textures and an experimental edge. The EP reflects both the deep introspection and raw physicality that define his work as a resident at Milan’s iconic VOLT Club.

The title track, Charrè, is a bold and atmospheric opener, pushing boundaries with a hybrid of trippy vocal chops, off-kilter rhythms and a gritty undertone that evokes late-night club energy with cerebral depth. In his remix, Mano Le Tough transforms the original into something cosmic and hypnotic, leaning into his signature emotional minimalism while preserving the track’s mysterious core. Rounding out the release, Come Sweet To Dance offers a contrasting moment; playful, deep and intimate, like a secret shared on a smoke-filled dancefloor.

This second release solidifies VOLT Recordings as more than just a club imprint; it’s a conduit for bold experimentation and deeply curated sounds, emerging directly from the creative DNA of VOLT itself. Since opening its doors in 2016, VOLT has become a cultural landmark in Milan and beyond, thanks to its meticulous curation, immersive atmosphere and genre-defying bookings.

Just as with its first release – Still.i’s Dance United EP, featuring remixes from Gerd Janson and Echonomist – the Charrè EP reflects VOLT Recordings’ mission to channel the energy and evolution of its club into a forward-facing label that amplifies emerging voices while connecting them to the broader conversation in electronic music.

With Charrè, Auggië proves that his vision is as ambitious as it is immersive, bridging genre, texture and mood with confidence and finesse. The addition of Mano Le Tough to the package adds only further weight to VOLT Recordings’ curatorial impact and hints at a label that’s quickly becoming a critical tastemaker in European electronic culture.

Auggië – Charrè EP (incl. Mano Le Tough Remix) is available from July 25 via VOLT Recordings.
