The poll is a celebration of the UK’s underground electronic music scene and is now in its ninth year. Positioned as a counter-balance to the global DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll, Best of British shines the spotlight on UK talent, be they DJs, producers, live acts, ensembles, MCs or labels, clubs, venues, festivals, albums, compilations, tracks, remixes, or live streams.

This year’s nominees include Carl Cox, Sasha & Digweed, Bicep, Andy C, Pete Tong, Goldie, Ben UFO, Maya Jane Coles, DJ Harvey, Camelphat & Elderbrook, Mollie Collins, Denis Sulta, Dusky, Zed Bias and many more.

Last year’s winners included Fabric collecting two awards for Best Large Club, and Innovation & Excellence (with Craig Richards also winning Best Resident). Carl Cox was awarded Outstanding Contribution, Annie Nightingale was voted Soldier Of The Scene, DJ EZ picked up Best DJ, The Warehouse Project was awarded Best Club Series, Dusky were chosen as Best Live Act, Lady Leshurr was voted 2016’s Best MC, while Best Live Stream went to Groove Armada.

The Best of British awards features British talent that has made considerable waves over the past 12 months. Each year, DJ Mag’s editorial team choose the 5 nominees for each category before giving the UK’s clubbers and electronic music fans a chance to make their voices heard via a public vote.

The full list of Best of British nominations – as chosen by DJ Mag's UK editorial team – are listed below. Music fans can vote for their favourites individually, or have their say in every category. Voting closes on 1st December 2017. Voting page: http://bestofbritish.djmag.com

The results will be announced at the Best of British Awards Party, powered by Relentless Energy Drink, at Egg London on Thursday 14th December. All voters before 22nd November can sign up for free tickets. After this date, tickets will go on general sale.
